Mx King doesn't refund me for his friend's scam.

Note: This is not yet a Report, Mx King has not scammed me, if you decide that he should pay me back and he refuses to, or denies the events that happened, I will post a scammer report.

In short, Mx King added me to buy some small amount of gold, I sold it to him, then he told me his friend needed the same amount of gold he told me to add him, his friend had no site account, Mx King convinced me to go first to him because he trusted him, I asked him specifically if he would refund me would his friend scam me, he answered yes, therefore I traded, trade succesful.
A week later, his friend contacts me again to buy more gold, I am hesitant but I go first to him again because Mx King would refund me if he scams, his friend scams me, Mx King doesn't refund me now, under the grounds that "[what he said] only counted for the first trade."
I summarized it as short as I could.
Should he repay me?

P.S: Since this is not a scammers report, I have not added proof. This is also because I feel it is not needed since Mx King will most likely not deny the events, if he does, I'll surely post the evidence.

 

Please post a full report. If Mx King did not specifically say he would just refund the first trade I feel we should view this as a partnership and he should be held accountable for his "friends" actions.
