    Cap: 70
    Skills: 110 (Redesigned to fit 70 cap)
    Solo Exp Rate: 4x
    Party ExP Rate: 2x
    SP Rate: 5x
    Gold Rate: 0.5x
    Item Rate: 4x
    Trade Goods Rate: Some routes are 2x iSro, some are up to 7x iSro
    Item Mall: Provides cosmetic and luxury items that will not effect PvP

    About a level 70 cap:

    High level caps create a huge gap in the community between the start of the game and lowest sustainable party level. A 70 cap server would put the lowest sustainable party level somewhere around crabs, which is something people wont mind soloing to on a 4x solo exp bonus rate. After crabs, parties should be plentiful on a 70 cap legit server. A cap of 80 puts the party level at sungsungs, 90 puts it at the ice, and 100 kills low level parties altogether leaving only power-leveling as a viable way to level up. We want to avoid repeating the mistakes of iSro and that begins with a 70 cap that will not ever go up.

    What about higher level content?

    Since the files are unlikely to ever be released again, the 110 content we currently have is the only content any vsro based pserver will ever be able to provide. Which means with some reworking, we can tailor fit that content to a 70 cap and offer a vast endgame of repeatable fun content without having to ever raise the cap!

    What is unique about Silkroad Salvation?

    Silkroad Salvation aims at taking Silkroad to the next level. We want to eliminate the grind treadmill and turn silkroad into a viable game for both casuals and hardcore players. Our main focus is PvP content. We did this by moving Battle Arena onto a 2 hour timetable replacing the lame campfest of CTF. PvP players will not need to grind a second past 70. All there gear will be available via battle arena along with the tablets and elixers needed to pimp the gear out.

    PvE players are not left out. We are adding mini-uniques all around the gameworld with drops worth fighting for. PvE instances such as Roc and Pharaohs Tomb will drop gear equivalent to the PvP gear. No matter your playstyle, you will be able to enjoy the game and be competitive.

    The latest Update that happened on November 1st!

    This is what it entails!


    Fixes
    - Inventory expansion issue fixed
    - Skill tool tips show correct values
    - Avatar suits correct price in item mall
    - Guild logos show properly
    - Added 11d lucky powder to npc
    - Swear filter removed
    - xtrap errors solved (if you update to the new sro_client.exe)

    A second Legend Patch is coming SOON!


    Legend 2 will introduce the pve elements of the game. This begins with forgotten world. Togui village will be avalible for low levels and will drop 6th and 7th degree gear. Handing in all talismans will get you a 7d som weapon. Roc mt and the two shipwreaks will be for level 70s. Roc mt will get you a weapon. One shipwreak will drop jewlery while handing in talismans will give you the necklace, the other will drop gear and handing in talismans will get you the chest. You will be able to solo a 1* version of the instance which will drop at a lower rate, or do a harder version which will require a party and will drop at a much higher rate.

    Info on roc/medusa will be posted once we figure out how it will be implamented.

    Kinda died, Got to the point you would have to either farm for 10 years for enough SP to lvl your character, or Bot your way to the level cap. Which we do not allow Bot programs in this version.

    This way you can cap in a week or so, and have enough SP to lvl your character.

    Plus it is a great community of people, and have very active GM's in game, and have unique events pretty much daily, if you are logged on.

    So this is just a good alternative to the game.

    Legend II - November 20th

    Two new instances are going to be added accessible to all character level 64+. Flame Mountain and Shipwreck. To prepare for Legend 2 we are doing a week of 10x rates.

    A new PvE endgear set will be added. This gear will be skinned as the 10D set. You will get your gear from minibosses in the Shipwreck with the final piece, the chest, available by collecting talisman. You additionally get your weapon by turning in the talisman from Flame Mountain.

    More will be announced as details become available!

    Legend 2 goes live!

    Legend 2, fogotten world, goes live today. It adds two pve instances, accessible via entrance stones that you can buy at the battle arena manager for 8mill (cost meant to be shared by the entire party). Both instances are hard and require a full party so be prepared for some epic battles and teamwork.

    The PvE gear will have the same stats as the battle arena gear. At the moment due to unintended server maintenance last night, the 10d look of the gear is not yet complete (will be done by tuesday) so for now the instances are dropping the same gear as battle arena.

    The PvE instances give amazing exp and sp. After 3 or 4 runs, most people will find themself fully farmed. This should help cut out some of the blah from the game and allow you to focus on the fun aspects of the game. Also, the drop rate of 11d stones is increased dramatically.

    Legend two increased the cost of trade goods. This will allow traders to take more of a risk and load up higher amounts of trade goods. As a result both trading and thieving will be more profitable.

    Patch 1.193

    As we inch closer and closer to balancing the different classes, the changes we make will become smaller and less noticable. We feel that the following changes will allow for some unorthodox builds and playstyles to shine and will help bring euro characters into balance with chinese on small scale 1v1 2v2 3v3 battles without impacting large scale pvp negativly.

    Please note, changes are server side atm and skill tooltips will not reflect the changes at this time.

    - Axe warrior damage and defense increased. Should now be a viable main build.
    - Bard damage slightly increased on both attack skills. Should now be a viable main build.
    - Spear chain and sword chain damage increased. Should allow ice chain builds to be viable main builds.
    - Fire Shield now 50% to match 50% holy word.
    - Healing Orbit will no longer require a cleric rod to cast, but will heal for slightly less.
    - You must be level 30 to teleport from jangan to hotan. This is done to help control plvling.
    - Weekly Server Backup and Inspection

    Arena coins can no longer be traded between characters. With forgotten world offering a viable alternative to Battle Arena, making coins account bound no longer effects PvE players ability to gear out. The abuse that was going on and the time it took out of our schedule monitoring battle arena for coin farmers was simply not worth it and was taking time away from developing new content. The gear you buy with coins is still tradable, as is forgotten world gear. Players who gear out via the economy will still be able to do so. Also removing coins as a currency will place more emphasis on jobbing for gold and should help boost an already growing jobbing scene.

    - Horse Trade Transports now go as fast as item mall transports. Their HP and Camels/Ox speed are unchanged.

    Monday we will be having a large patch that will last about 2 hours and will start at Monday 9pm eastern time.

    We will be adding new avatars, new payment options, making some major changes to the game world setup, adding in stack-able stones, and a few other changes aimed at creating a better game environment. During battle arena our server always sees a huge spike in players, but they log off after BA. We want to make the game focus less on "grinding" BA and more on community, cape pvp, jobbing, job wars, boss fights, and even add in rewards for those who enjoy grinding (yes some ppl enjoy grinding o_O).

    And I may even add in the x-mass tree.

    - Stones stack in stacks up to 30
    - NPC thief damage adjusted slightly
    - Added in 8d Seal of Star drops to the DW cave.
    - Previous 10% lighting buff removed, numbers are now at stock iSro levels.
    - Crossbow damage fixed on a single skill which was hitting lower then iSro levels.
    - Donwhang added, Hotan removed
    - DW mobs are now level 40-60, with the cave its usual 60-70
    - Bandit Den now taxes Donwhang
    - Battle Arena gear is bought at the donwhang blacksmith.
    - Database backup and inspection

    About Donwhang: When we first chose which areas to take out, we went with "which one looks better?" and hotan won. That was a mistake. Hotan may look pretty, but its a useless city in regards to gameplay. Donwhang has 3 gates, 1 for pvp, 1 for guild wars, 1 for job wars. All the NPC are close by, guild and normal storage are close by, overall its the best city when it comes to gameplay. Our servers see really good traffic during battle arena and afterwards the players log off since there really is no set PvP spot. We hope that Donwhang will address those issues and create a more active server for everyone.

    We will be doing a 3 week trial run of Donwhang. Afterwards if it had the intended effect, it will be a permanent change. Otherwise the change will be undone and hotan re-implemented.

    About The Fortress Changes: The largest issue we saw during fortress war was that numbers mean everything. The bandit den is one of the few forts in which a smaller, more organized force can overcome a larger force. So we made it tax donwhang. Now it should be the number 1 fortress when it comes to gold income.

    We could not implement hotan fortress. That was the first plan, but it could not be done. Either way 2 forts means more action for everyone and less snooze wars where no one shows up. The guild holding hotan will receive 2 weeks worth of compensation gold and should donwhang prove to be no more useful then hotan, they will receive the fortress back.

    About the new Avatars / Payment options: We have added all the avatars in server side. Waiting on a few more changes to the payment options then we will release the avatars. Expect to see them adding into the client by the middle of the week.

    This patch is Part 1 of a 2 part gameplay improvement patch. There will be a second patch next monday to follow up, fix any new found bugs, and add in a few more features.

    - 3rd floor also drops 11d stones now
    - Cerberus now spawns in the jangan south tomb
    - Yarkan now spawns in front of dw cave
    - Yarkan will now hit harder and can not be sleep bugged

    BATTLE ARENA NPC HAS BEEN REMOVED UNTIL THE NPC BUG IS FIXED.
    It should be fixed either tomorrow or monday.
