mumble Scammed me.

After this report was fixed
Jimmythemanz scammed me.

Hahanerd gave permission for @mumble to recover the Account for me.

I first of all asked mumble to Recover the Account to my email address which I provided.
But he went against my wishes and used his own Email address.

I had trouble Logging into the account with the username/Password Supplied which I message mumble letting him know.
Eventually it worked, (I think it was a typo on my end)

I also noticed the bank pin that @Jimmythemanz had put there was on a count down for removal

I then tried to change the password to the account by Accessing the new email address provided
But I was greeted with this

I couldn't secure the account because I didn't have Access to the email address because the user broke the google terms of Agreement.

I was asked for my Telephone Number to add it to the google mail account, I provided this to mumble but the google mail account remained locked.

I asked several times for the Account to be Recovered via an Appeal to my personal email address and I wasnt given any cooperation.

Ive set an authenticator on the account, its the only way I can secure it but I still cant change the password, When the timer Finaly Ran out on the bankpin that @Jimmythemanz had set there was some wealth in the bank.

I believe mumble set the email address to his own rather than the one I provided so he could have an attempt at taking the wealth from the account that @Jimmythemanz left there before giving me Access to it.

Ide like a refund for the Account if possible as I don't feel safe with it after mumbles actions.

Furthermore the moment in Sythe Pm that I told mumble What I thought he was up to and that I was going to report it he changed his tune immediately

If this player knew .* anything about the account recovery process he'd be aware that Jagex doesn't assume people have moved continents and switched countries. I knew that submitting an appeal to his email address wouldn't work as it was a UK email.

I literally told the player in his last message that I would give him EVERYTHING TIED TO THE ACCOUNT.

but no.

he wouldn't respond.


I don't want to deal with this anymore, this player is unwilling to cooperate at any attempts I attempt to help him at.

EDIT:

The first mod who wants to PM me they can have the email that's now registered to the account. The email to change the password to the account is on there, prime and ready to set.

 

Someone Correct me if I'm wrong but if your The Original owner sending in a recovery you can put the new email address to what ever your want. All that matters is that its the OO doing the recovery you could then set the email address to any you want. Location doesn't make a difference.

I can recover any of my Account to any email address I wanted to Irrelevant if it was over seas or not, I actually had this done for me today from Belgium.
But that's not the Point.

My point is
1) you chose to ignore my request and chose a different email address.
2) you then attempted to remove the pin from the account to gain the wealth.
3) Refused to recover the Googlemail account.
3) Refused to Cooperate with me. That's why this report it open.

Ive Asked for a refund, I don't feel comfortable with the Account after all this hastle.

Alright let's go point by point

1) I knew it wasn't going to work with his email address in an attempt to recover it to it since it already has runescape accounts linked to it.
2) I didn't remove the pin, there's ~0 wealth on the account in the first place. He has access to the account, he could've xfered it on or off. The person who scammed the account from him in the first place could have set the pin and then Riven could've requested it to be removed. I haven't had the 7 days on the account for the pin to be removed.....

3) I attempted to recover the gmail account WITH HIS PHONE NUMBER. It said it wasn't able to.

Its not mine, I don't want it.


I Don't feel comfortable with the Account after these recent conversations between myself and you.

You seem like the person who would hold a grudge.


Why did you change your tune to helping me in the end after I mentioned about the bank pin and reporting you?

I literately sent 4-5 messages asking you to do it the proper way/way I asked.
you got all arrogant and made this worse for yourself.

I will neither reply Until asked a question by A mod/Staff who handle this require me to.
