To all you Australians here

Right, I've noticed there are quite a few Australians around here. And as my school assignment, I've been asked to write about Australias cultural values. So I'm asking you, what do you Australians value? What do you appreciate? How do you expect visitors to behave?

I'd greatly appriciate if you could give me some ideas on these questions

The main cultural values that Australia promotes are:

- Mateship
- Multiculturalism
- A Fair Go

Immigrants, Asylum Seekers and visitors as expected to try and assimilate into our way of life. Australia is probably able to be summed up as laid back. We are a laid back group of people who enjoy hanging around with our mates be them black or white asian or not, we give them an equal opportunity and fair go.

 

This pretty much sums it up..

Laid back, chill and relaxed. Although the government is a bit rigged.

 

I'm a Kiwi , And from a 2rd person point of view it's the following:

- Mateship , Everybody needs a good set of mates.
- Just "Giv-it-a-go" attitude
- She'll be right attitude
and A great Family involvement.
