    HD Pvr help please
    hey so I am buying a hd pvr and I want to know if I don't have a HD tv will it work, but it wont just be in 720p?

    Stupidest question ever.

    What is the point in buying an HD recording device only to have record SD?

    The key is in the name, 'HD PVR'.

    Buy a Dazzle.

    mmm, i asked a few people i know about this question.

    I think you can record with splitters or some cord to a SD TV and the quality will still be amazing. Not to sure tho.

    I have a Dazzle and it uses the standard red, white and yellow cables rather than the HDMI cable.
