Botting + Legit = BAN

Hey, if I bot say autohunterpro using "signed" (because unsigned is so slow) and play on my main, in different worlds of course. Will I get banned? (Is it considered multi-log-in)

 

It is still considered multi log in, but no one ever gets banned from it. Hell, I am running 3 bots on the same IP, using a signed client (Shows IP to jagex, on all 3 accounts), and I have never been banned for it.
EDIT: To kind of answer your question better, on top of the 3 bots, I also legit sometimes on the normal runescape client. No bans so far.

No you wont, and FYI you are allowed to multi-log as much as you want as long as the two accounts don't interact e.g. trade each other.

 

For all jagex knows it could be your siblings playing.

 

Multi-logging is not against the rules.

 

Personally I have had to test several bugs that involve me needing multiple accs logged on at the same time.. Long story short I have muti logged 4+ accs on the same ip no problem in over 5 years..

 

Actually it is against the rules. Their logic is that you could be doing something afk-able on one account while training another which gives you an advantage over someone who has to train both their accounts by hand, like someone using a main and a pure.

It's really because they want you to take as long as possible to reach your goals so you'll stay a member that much longer.


Never heard of anyone getting banned for it though.

 

You could possibly be negatively affected by this, however. Let's say your hunter account gets banned, Jagex may then begin to monitor your main heavily, if it isn't banned already.

This is just a theory.

 

Never heard of anyone who got banned for multilogging.

I have for the past 2 years, and have never been banned for it.

 

You can only get banned for multilogging if you say it in public chat.
