    User Education Suggestions!

    Background Information
I have decided to allow non-UE's to officially suggest ideas of change to the User Education team and/or system for the first time. I really feel that we have to have some user involvement within the team. And I think that this is the first step to doing that.

    How this works
It's quite a complex process. I will select an element of UE that I feel needs change, and I'll set it as the topic. At this point, I will be taking all reasonable and ideal suggestions, and starting a thread in the Private UE forum, with a range of ideas. Once an idea reaches an outright lead, I'll start a special thread with a Yes/No vote on the thread. If a majority is reached, it is then put forth to the Head User Educators to agree on. If the HUEs agree, it will be put forth to an administrator, who will choose to either back it or decide that it isn't within the rules.

    To summarise
    1. Users Suggest -> What the community wants
    2. UE Team Votes -> They think it's a good idea
    3. HUEs Vote -> To ensure that this is how we want our team run
    4. Administrator Signs -> To ensure it all within the rules!

This way, I believe that this idea has actually had involvement from all stakeholders of the User Education team, with the users(suggestors), the UE team(the workers), the HUEs(leaders) and the administrators(staff) all agreeing to the one suggestion.

    Current Topic
    Application Requirements
I feel that the application to become a User Educator relies to heavily on the ability to write a guide, which is only a small aspect of being a User Educator. It does not show us a user's ability to
    • Be generally Helpful
    • Be a good team member
    • Maintain high activity levels
    • Critique Guides

Do not worry if your suggestion does not solve all of the above, the UE team is realistic, we realize we cannot perfect everything, however we want to get so close to perfect that we can call it perfect

I am taking all responisbly, reasonable suggestions, and placing them in a special space below:

    Current Suggestions
    None :(

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
    Kindest Regards, Marrow.
