A contact of mine had his msn hacked by one of those bots that just spams all its contacts at random times with links to various sites. I have tried "appearing offline" to the contact but the bot somehow manages to still send me pm's. I have also deleted the contact outright after appearing offline to it, yet somehow it manages to send me messages. Any ideas?
Remove the contact permanently? If you only appear offline to him, it is just sent as an offline message. I suggest have him make a new msn/try and recover his and in the meantime have the contact deleted for now.
I don't think there's a fix. You can check in msn options > privacy > edit options to check if your profile is on private but I'm not sure if that matters. Msn plus might still have the block option? I'm not sure, I don't use it anymore.
