Question about XBL Membership..(Free Perm Gold member?)>>

So I recently went on my old account and it seems I can still play games online even though it's not gold? well so far I only tried CoD Black ops... I heard other people have gotten free perm membership due to an error from microsoft.. has this happened to me

or is there just a event going on that I don't know about, thanks for any answers =D

Black Ops has offered free membership weekends before, maybe this is one. Also you can easily check by going to your profile and seeing if you are silver or gold. Also try start a party chat, if you can then you have gold.

Maybe you used a credit card and it just auto renewed another year of xbox live?

 

thanks for your response kabal, but I have only used prepaid cards for membership it clearly says i'm free when I sign in, have not heard of a free membership weekend from CoD black ops.. this week anyways usually they will let everyone know lol..
