A few thoughts...

Just wanting to know how everyone else feels. Lately, between all the spam, mass of new users to the spam forum who know nothing about it and assume it is ran like the rest of the forums, except the can post whatever they want (which isn't true), flood of scammers obviously trying to scam, kids posting everything in the wrong sections, and everything else, this site is really losing quality. Does anyone else agree? I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but lately I have been really inactive on here, simply because well, the site has become so degraded, it's just not fun and interesting anymore. Used to, you could some to Sythe, and even in the spam forum, there would be at least one intelligent conversation, or at least 1 topic without 5000 flamers and spammers just posting retarded comments, for post count or not, it is still retarded. If you look at the spam forum even now, there is a kid selling accounts... seriously... what the fuck kid? Everything you go into has some Jun/July/Aug kid with 150 posts, who has clearly spammed their post count up, now degrading the spam forum, and other nice areas of the forum... Does anyone else get this feeling or have these thoughts?


tl;dr: Spammers/Scammers/Retards degrading Sythe from the used to be semi-intelligent, entertaining, and nice site it used to be...

Just some thoughts, rant over now.

Brb with pitchforks. Unless I'm included in that... To me, newfag would be someone with less than 6 months here at Sythe, and under 5 intelligent/helpful topics. I qualify as a non-newfag by those standards... but idk, some still consider me a newfag, and simply based on join date, I can't blame them.

 

There are very few people I consider oldfags who are still hanging around, nothing personal...

 

Lol I am by no mean saying I am an oldfag, but there is that line you cross when you pass out of the newfag group and into the fairly known, somewhat respected, productive member of the forum group.

Oldfag isn't determined by join date.
It's a requirement, but you also need to have been active on the forums and involved in all of the shitstorms/updates or at least knowledgeable of them.
I'm not a newfag, but I'm sure as hell not an oldfag.
