    MSI afterburner not saving correctly.

Basically I OC my GPU, save to a new profile, switch from that to 1, then back to profile 2, and the OCs gone. Fixes?

    MSI afterburner not saving correctly.

Been happening to me too for a few years. I usually fix it by saving the profile a few times and continuously dragging the core & mem clocks to where I want repeatedly.

    MSI afterburner not saving correctly.

Why not just set the settings in the BIOS?

You can't overclock a GPU from the BIOS as far as I know

Yeah you can set the same settings there as you do with this software.

Because I'd rather have the option of setting my profile with 1 click of a button depending on the weather.

Well since spray has the same problem I can only imagine it's related to the software.

Just use other software to OC your card?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the CPU? Because I've never seen a way to easily overclock the GPU via the BIOS. The only other thing I can think of is if you mean overclock the card the card's BIOS, like flashing the cards BIOS which is much harder than using an overclocking utility, generally voids your warranty, and can brick your card. Software for the GPU is the way to go.

Overclocking in any shape or form will always void your warranty.
In most of the BIOS software now a days you can overclock plenty.

But since OP wants to switch between different types of settings, it's best to try other software.

OT: Do you have ATI overdrive installed?

Overclocking doesn't void your warranty whatsoever.

I do. But I rather msi afterburner for the multiple profiles.
I'll reinstall it soon to see.

Maybe there's an updated version, check for that :p

But yes, overclocking DOES void your warranty.
I'd love to see where it says that it doesn't.

Maybe in the future it will change, here's an article from yesterday about overclocking Intel CPU's (yes I know CPU, not GPU).

It only voids your warranty if you go above the manufactures max voltage.
Which I'm not even touching the voltage so it's not voiding said warranty.

'bout to update MSI Afterburner. :)

Btw, it still voids the warranty unless you're only changing it to one of the standard speeds which you can find in your manual / online product description.

CBF searching a ton, but a lot of the brands don't care, + they can't tell if you did or not.

    Fixed my problem anyway.

Yeah as long as you don't change the voltage it's hard for them to tell lol.

Did the update fix it or..?
