Proof that it's their Discord: So when GLENN asked for my vouches I sent him my vouch link, I already felt like something was off with him, so when I sent him my link I went over to my vouch thread and saw no one was viewing it, a second later i refreshed my screen and saw that the user "sea moss" was viewing my vouches. So I highly believe it is him as i don't think any random person would view my vouches the moment i sent my link to this guy lmao.

Explanation of the trade: Told me he didn't have a sythe account and didn't want to make one. Wouldn't find a MM himself. Kind of already felt like the imposter scam was coming so I played along until I got a RSN and sythe profile from him.

How they scammed: Tried to MM imposter scam as "Bert"

I think you have the wrong person? I was viewing vouch threads in general when I was online Sythe today. How do I go about removing the DNT under my profile? Please let me know.

 

Odd you'd look at my vouches since..
1. I'm not big/popular.
2. We have never had any communication anywhere.
3. You started viewing my vouches literally less than a minute after I sent my vouch link.
*shrugs*

 

1. I was scrolling through the vouches sub forum.
2. I have never spoken to you or anyone else for that matter, so I don't know who you are to accuse me of doing something without proof.
3. Must have been a coincidence. I have not contacted you in any which way possible.

Shortly after another Sythe user messages me regarding an imposter attempt as below.



The UID for my imposter is 774761492297416714, very likely to be linked.

 

I've also had a trade with GLENN#8588 UID: 809607057225154620 which he tried to do the imposter a few days ago. Put him in touch with Dieze and GLENN#8588 UID: 809607057225154620 tried to add a fake middleman.

 

Hey, I can't seem to find Glenn on my friend list, but he tried to scam me doing swapping. He made a fake Mustang add me as a MM, and was trying to scam swap me 50B RS3.

 

He's changed/Deleted his discord now. Asif people think they can scam established sythe users with this ancient scam rofl 'I'll sell you GP for 50% of the price anyone else will' Seem's legit huh.

That's because scammers dont usually link there discord to sythe to make it harder to link profiles
