    Bicycle Repair / Maintenance questions

Okay I rode my mountain bike atleast 14 miles today, but while riding my left pedal came off i must have lost a nut that goes inside the bottom of the pedal, but I was wondering if anybody could find me some helpful links, or knows anything about it because I dont know what nut will fit it and it looks like it takes a 14mm socket will tighten it but im just clueless cause my socket wont fit inside their, can anybody help?

You may need a deep socket.
What type of bike is it? Brand/ Model, ect.
    Hope I can help!

oh yea, I had that happen to me once before! everything I tried to tighten the bolt. But once more, it just wore back off and I kept loosing my pedal, once caused me to smack right into a cop's car along side the road and under a hill!

You can get sockets that are tapered off a bit, that may be what you need.
