Possible Market Suggest?

Suggestion: Add more features into the market.

NOTE: I realize some of this may not be possible.

Features:
-Easier picture option (place links in slots).
-Tells the buyers the 5 main points to the account when you first view the thread.
-Less clogging (Pictures wont take up the page making your scroll down.
-Gives the market a fresh new look.

What could be added taken away from this suggestion?

I would like the 'click to add picture from computer' function (not sure if we already have that option). As for the others, they're pointless. You can just add the pictures and be good to go, what would posting those levels do? and not to mention it would be very annoying to have to post every level in each slot.

I support the 'click to add picture from computer" part but definitely not the others.

No support. This is the craigslist of virtual goods not the ebay of virtual goods for a reason. It would take so much coding to change it to allow this and I personally don't think its necessary. It may look flash but it's not gonna save the people posting any time when they only have to log on and take a few screenshots, this can be done in a matter of moments with puush.

 

That's valid, Although this is just a suggestion to freshen up the place.

 

No support, it would be faster with puush and I'd rather set my thread up how I want.

 

Not really something that will benefit the market. More like a preference and like ryan said. Some people would like to set up their thread themselves.

I actually really do like the pictures and set up of what you're suggesting. I hope it may be implemented one day.

I support, but there should be an option to use that, not make it mandatory.

Personally I would use it, as it looks clean and easy to use and see.

I don't see a reason it shouldn't be added as an option, unless it would take too long to code/change then I wouldn't want to burden the admins.

 

It might be useful for new members who haven't really mastered making a tidy, readable thread, but as stated above should be optional. But I would like to see this as it could benefit a lot of players who find it hard to make a thread look good.

 

I really like the idea and you've impressed me with the graphics too. It looks 100x more user friendly and for newcomers especially with the photos. Many people don't know how to add pictures even though there's guides out there (like my Gyazo guide).

I especially like the add photos bit and the scrolling through the pictures. It might take a lot of work though and perhaps it could be applied to other parts of the market, not just RuneScape!

You could add a list of support in your thread. IDK just an idea, not sure whether it would benefit at all

 

I support. But it is optional.
It looks neater, and all threads won't be a mess+way too large.

 

First, is this even a viable option? Can it be done? Will a lot of time or costs be involved to implement it? Does it use a VB Plugin? If it does, can you link us to one?

Also, wouldn't this put a huge strain on the server? I mean the reason donators can't upload there own 150x100 .gif avatars is because of the possible server stress...

I somewhat agree with you guys, puush is much easier and if the pictures are right there when it comes to Spam Reports and Scam Reports they might be easier to view the exact image.

 

This is denied as the market is fine as it is.
