We really need to do something to stop scamming.

This place is plagued with scams, i recommend making a system like every trader on Sythe has to pay like 50 bucks for 50 points, after every successful trade you get back 1-10 points (Depends on value of trade) in the form of cash, and people who is going to trade should trade stuff below the points value, and if one guy scams, the points will be removed and he is banned, and the money invested into the points goes to the victim.

Of course, Sythe will profit by selling the points back at 0.95$

Um too much of a hassle and also paypal would not be a viable paying method. and most people aren't willing to spend $50.

    Or or or!!

Get an iTrader, which should somewhat help with the false vouches, and people can leave negative comments too!

    But, it will never happen.

Will the world ever find world peace?
Will the evil in people causing murder, illegal drugs, rape, wars, etc. ever stop?
Your joining a cheating forum, there is bound to be cheaters who don't play by the rules. NOT EVEN SYTHE RULES. The only way to protect yourself is to research, ask questions and be extremely cautious while conducting your business on Sythe.

Ok, just say Sythe did indeed implement your little system. This forum had something similar to iOffer's sellers account, where you would need to make a $20 deposit in order to sell.
    Statistics:
    -There are currently 173,811 members.
-10,000 members do decide to pay the $50.
    -That's $500,000.00 right there.
Who would be in charge of this money? Certainly not one user. If a group of mods. shared an account with this money, who's to say a couple hundred dollars here or there won't go slipping without anybody noticing? Even if it was seen, this is one account, shared by a group of mods. The person who tried to steal some funds won't be known. The list of problems will never cease. Josh5498 is right.

Overview: If a scammer knew what he was doing and wanted to steal a Runescape account somebody was selling that contained rares+mills, $50 would be a small price for him. Indeed it might fish out the small time scammers, but it would also greatly impact the rest of the community as well. Case closed.

    The End?

This is stupid, who will actually pay $50? Be serious now..

Most of Sythe's users don't have a job and/or 14 years old or younger. Something along this line is pretty much a hassle and can be easily abused.

    No support.

I hate these made up statistics, but the majority of people who get scammed make themselves susceptible to being scammed due to their own inability to discern trustworthy people from shady people.

They don't ask the right questions, they don't do their research, and they simply aren't meticulous when trading.

You can minimize and sometimes completely negate the chance of being scammed by by taking proper measures yourself and using a trusted middleman.
