I got couple friends who have it hacked, and personally I wouldn't hack it, because if you do, when your ps3 gets a technical issue the company will no longer cover it and it's your loss

Uh... I am talking about PSPs. As far as I have read PSPs are super easy to hack now and have little to no errors.

I think it would be practically the same, if something happens it's no longer under their cover.

There is nothing that can happen aslong as you don't touch flash1
But it's true, if something happens, (which most likely won't), it's no longer under their cover.

I won't be buying a brand new one to hack. It'll be a used one, so it is safe to assume there will be no warranty.

the psp homebrew community is very open and developed so even if you do manage to "brick" yours, there are many methods to unbrick it.

But the chance of such a thing happening is very slim :p

    go for it
