Mining, LRC is just as much GP as thieving (monkeys) in terms of GP per hour, it is one of the fastest and afkable methods of training mining. I don't see your point. In the end OP would spend as much time training mining, if you want to talk about efficiency.

Hunter, Grenwall, explained in my previous post.

Cooking, Rocktail is "disgustingly slow"? And that's how I now know about your useless, inexperienced posts. When you can achieve up to 350k cooking exp by rocktails alone, that just shows how you can't be more wrong. It's also afkable. Get your facts straight.

I still fail to see how thieving is the only skill that nets a profit.

Lrc only makes money if you bank the ores, which makes it EXTREMELY slow, it goes to 60k/hr from 95k/hr+ while superheating/alching,

Grenwalls are terrible, explained in my previous post.

Rocktail isn't 350k/hr, not even close. And let's be generous and say it is, Wines are 840k/hr that's over 2x as fast. When a method is 2x as fast as another, the slower method is "disgustingly slow" to me.

I find it amusing you think I'm a troll when all I've done is post facts that support my statement that thieving is the skill he should do.

    Stop being an idiot.

Look at Frost dragon bone's G.E price now. In the old days, before the update, you could do 150 frosts per hour with a yak and cannon. That's according to youtube videos, which are always exaggerated. Now that they become immune to damage and are slower. I'd say 100 is hard to achieve now, and if there are still 5 bots camping all the frost dragon respawns, then good luck even getting 500k per hour. You will then count all the overhead expenses, potions, food, cannonballs etc.

You sure about torstols? You don't make a consistent 20M and you will never make anywhere close to that. Price hasn't changed much since last month either. Look at the table and check your odds.

Now there's 5 patches, including the disease free one. Your odds of breaking even when using supercompost is 50/50, seeing as you can get a minimum of 5 with it. Even if you got the most (12 torstols) per patch, you still don't even make 1M. Don't tell me, Torstol herbs were 200k a piece last month?

I forgot to take alching into account. I replied to that idiotic statement you made in your previous post.

I was being generous with 350k.

Sorry bro, wines makes less than 800k per hour, and that's doing it nonstop. Would you spend 60M to save 15 or so hours?

Lolno, I've done frosts before and after the update and was killing easily 160+, the update barely made them slower, considering you kill them so fast and most of the dragons didn't even get a chance to block your damage. They're still easily 1.5m/hr, way more actually.

And you make 20m/hr farming herbs by using remote farm, no seeds die. You make an average of 1.2m a run with green fingers and juju pots after you add in scroll of life seeds. 1.2m a run and each run takes 3 minutes MAX with lunar trollheim tele, do the math. You're making easily over 20m/hr.

I was being generous with 840k

You can make 190 Unfermented wines in 2minutes 35 seconds, so...
2x60+35= 155 seconds total time used to make wines
    60x60/155= 23.55..X multiplier for 1 hour
200 Xp per Wine so that counts 190x 200= 38,000 Cooking Xp.
    38,000 X 23.55..~ 882,000 XP per hour.

This is without mistakes of course, not hard to do.

Puts cooking rocktails to shame, and yes I would spend 60m to save 15 hours considering I can make 20m/hr.

Dude get out with your fictional statements. Easily 160? Yeah, I'd like to see you kill frosts at an average of less than 20 seconds each, and of course getting another target after every kill (there are people around too you know). And then you count potions, cannonballs, the time it takes to restock. All you have is your words, go search youtube and you'll see highly exaggerated videos of them saying they got 160 per hour. And that's being maxed.

Let's see, it is 12 seconds to do 5 hits with a rapier. You need to do an average of 320 per hit to kill a frost dragon every time, get one 0 and that turns into 400 per hit. I don't care if you're on overloads or any of that, you cannot kill frost dragon with an average time of 15-18 seconds per kill. And just saying you can proves nothing.

What an idiotic way of calculating farming. It takes 80 minutes for the seed to grow. By that stupid logic of yours, I can make 100Billion per hour. I will count the time it takes when i buy an item in the G.E, and the time it takes to sell it. Both 1 second, now multiply my profit by 3600 (1 hour for you who can't count). And I'll be making billions per hour.

No clue where you got your math from, I got mine from Rswiki. They included the ticks as well, you just give a random bunch of numbers saying you can do this much in this time. When RSWiki says you can do as much as I previously stated with the ticks it takes to make one.

Why would you count the time it takes the herbs to grow? LOL. It's not like you have to be logged in during that time, you spend 3 minutes in game and make 1.2m, end of story. It adds up to 20m/hr. And yes, flipping can be in the billions per hour, but it is not reliable.

Also, I ranged frosts with void and rigour and extremes, after the deflector update it made 160+ kills/hr easily achievable again with a pernix body.

I got my numbers from actually doing wines to 200m cooking, go make them ingame yourself (theyre f2p), it is EASILY achievable with mousekeys to make 190 in 2:35. Rs wiki can be edited by anyone and is typically wrong in most cases, better to listen to a pro like me if you want skilling advice.

Don't make me show you my flipping log where I made 3-10M flips per phat, it's simple to flip if you had brains. Those were quick flips, don't get me started with the long term.

And there goes your silly theory of frosts making 160 kills per hour. I also doubt you kill every dragon with an average of 5 hits with range and have a target after every kill. And now this renders all your previous arguments invalid. I guess I'm done here.

Edit: I was told by someone on Skype to crush this guy again. They explained to me what was in his post (ignored).

Why threaten me with proof? Obviously if you had such logs you'd present them and prove me wrong, but obviously such logs do not exist. And I said flipping CAN be in the billions per hour, I never said it wasn't possible, I'm aware flipping is simple lol, not sure why your first statement is acting like I said flipping sucks.

Try doing frosts in a different language world when it's night time for the american players, it usually results in rather empty worlds. And if its not empty, go do another thing to make money, anything is better than grenwalls. Not like you have to stick around in a crowded frost world, theres plenty of other stuff to do pal.

Cute flipping logs, too bad I can't show my ge history because I flip crackers and blues, y'know, top dog stuff. And bots don't go in different language worlds. "Burn".

I'm training fletching and magic at the same time and I'm gaining money, although it's slow.
Quit bashing other peoples' methods, I was here to find out what skills make profits at lvl 99, not to see another useless internet argument.

The key part of your post is "although it's slow", maybe try reading some of my "useless internet argument" posts and you'll find out why your method of training magic and fletching at the same time to make money is basically the noobiest possible thing you can do. I'm not bashing anyone, just simply stating facts, and OP should definitely get 99 thieving if he wants to make a profit.

I found that fletching and alching what I've fletched was a nice idea, since I could be browsing the internet while fletching and using mousekeys to alch while watching was a good idea, although it is slow, and it's the noobiest possible thing that I can do?

You just called my method the "noobiest" and you claim that you're not bashing anyone.

You're acting like a dick. I'm not bashing you, I only said that you're acting like a dick and haven't called you a dick directly, so it doesn't count as bashing. <=this is exactly what you sound like.

You're not the center of the universe, and the world doesn't revolve around you. You don't define what's considered bashing or what's the best.
If somebody felt upset because of what you said, you should apologize instead of trying to justify yourself with its basis on your own judgements. People here are sharing opinions on what they feel is great and if you have different opinions, keep it to yourself or find a way to say it nicely if you absolutely have to say it.

Nobody wants to hear how their methods are noobish, unexperienced, or idiotic. Learn to keep those words to yourself.

Alright man, fletching and then alching what you fletched...

You don't seem like you have a lot of money, so let's say your doing yew longbows.
You're gonna make ~50 gp each alch, which is what, 50k an hour? that's so miniscule it's not even worth mentioning you make a profit, and if you're doing magic longbows it goes up to 80k profit an hour, oh man. So let's say you spend 3 hours doing this, you get ~200k fletch xp and 120k magic xp along with 160k profit (doing magic longbows).
i'll put this in a list to make it easier
    3 hours
    -200k fletch xp (1 hour)
    -120k magic xp (2 hours)
    -160k gp

now, with my methods of training and making money, here's what i'd do to gain that xp and cash

    3 hours
-fletch broad arrows and gain 200k fletch xp (20 minutes)
-string amulet+hunter kit and gain 120k magic xp (30 minutes)
-farm torstol for 2 hours and 10 minutes (43m gp)

as you can see, the numbers don't lie. Of course you can say that you think your methods are better in your opinion, but it's clear that my methods offer a little more for the time spent. People fail to realize that spending money to train fast usually pays off in the end due to time saved.

200K xp from Broad Arrows requires around 13.3k in supplies. Exchange prices around around 78 gp each. However to collect a large stock for prolonged training you would have to pay around 90 gp each. Headless Arrows costs around 40 gp each in large quantities. For that amount you would have to pay around 1.6M.

Gold amulets also require you to dish out around 190 gp per unstrung amulet. The runes per cast also cost around 200 gp per cast. After stringing the amulet you can resell to the Rogue trader for a net loss of around 240gp. I don't know the exact numbers to string a full inventory but based on your numbers. Stringing for 30mins/120k xp will require ~1500 amulets. This amounts to a net loss of 360k.

Now. a full herb run takes around 5 minutes. I average around 45 herbs with juju farming pots per run. I make a hefty profit from farming lantadymes around 100k-150k per trip.

Herb patches takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to fully grow. Each torstol seed costs around 290k which means 5 seeds will cost 1.45M in seeds alone. Each torstol herb costs around 34k (atm). This means on average you will make only 100k profit with 45 herbs return. Losing 1 seed means each patch must average 11 herbs instead of 9 herbs per patch. You will not break even if you get less than 40 herbs per run. SO tell me how Torstols makes you 43m?

Math doesn't lie. Now after that hour you are now down around 1.8m in net costs.

Now onto your opinion of time vs money effeciency. It's a matter of preference on the method: lose money, break even, earn money. These three are the basics to training. The amount of xp gained is reduced as you attempt to break even or earn money. This is how RS is designed and this is gernally how life works. Fast will cost money, slow will cost less or allow you to profit. Nothing comes free.

Based on this, fletching broad arrows for 1 hour will cost around 5M in cash. You will get around 600k XP. Compare this to fletching magic longbows (u) which is 135k fletching xp per hour with a loss of ~100k per hour.

    1h for 600k xp or 4.5h for 600k xp (5M loss in 1h or 450k loss in 4.5h).
So if unless you can earn 4.5M in 3.5 hours which is doable but requires high stats to be able to do. You're not spending your time as effeciently as you thought.

Note: all this doesn't apply if you wish to spend money, however not everyone plays like this. I for one don't like throwing money away for "faster training xp" I moderate the two based on the skill.
