Rugby World Cup - England 2015

Anyone watching? Thoughts/comments? Another year for the All Blacks or a dark horse?

I decided to root for Scotland this year since it's easy to follow the All Blacks, lol. But the tournament, IMO, has been carried out very well and most matches have been entertaining.

 

Probably going to say another cup for the AB's. I think Richie and Dan will be determined to bring the cup home and it's going to be hard to break down that captainship. Although, I would love to see one of the other great teams win; Ireland, France, Scotland or RSA. Tbh, I don't think Australia have been playing to world cup standards thus far - same goes for the boks. It will be interesting to see who brings the cup home! Been a great tournament thus far.

Yeah, the home nations besides the hosts themselves have been pretty surprising.

But idk, I think Scotland are playing well but Australia will be a tough match for us tomorrow. The Samoa game was too close for my liking. Laidlaw is playing superbly though so as long as he keeps kicking for his life we might manage it.

 

I think Scotland has Australia on their heels. Although, I do admit as much as I hate to, Australia always seem to play manageably well under pressure. NZ is up against France in a matter of minutes, so we'll see what happens there. France always manages to knock us out in the semis

 

France have been in the shadows for me, they haven't played their best yet - maybe they have saved it for NZ.. GL my kiwi bros Although for Scotland to win I need France to xD

 

Yeah, they haven't done anything extraordinary this time around. But in saying that, neither have the kiwis. Argentina was given props but they aren't performing this year either. I'd love to see NZ v Scotland in the finals! That'd be a worthy match. Gosh, it'd be absolute mayhem in Scotland haha.

 

If Scotland won, I think everyone here would celebrate for the next year haha. Their defence isn't strong enough for an AB match though.

 

All Black attack has been lacking as compared to previous years though. I just read a Stuff article some knob jockey wrote a few days ago, proclaiming that New Zealand peaked years ago and they're useless now. I think they were just trying to stir controversy in order to up the viewings or interest lmfao.

Thoughts on this weekends games?

Gonna be NZL and Aus for me. Dont mean to bandwagon the All Blacks but its kinda hard not to

 

All Blacks are in the final. 20-18 against springbok.

 

I enjoyed the RWC a lot.
