Most addictive game you've ever played?

So, I hear a lot these days about people becoming 'addicted' to games. I'm guessing it's not as powerful as being addicted to drugs or something, but nonetheless i can see how it's possible! I'm curious, what's the most addictive game you've ever played?

Never been addicted to a game, just don't see how you can be to be honest. Played WoW once and found picking my toe nails more fun, played Runescape a handful of times and only ever got one character to level 65 and got bored. Played my Xbox360 casually but haven't for the last year. Guess it's not in me lol

 

Haha I get what you mean though, you sound about as inpatient as I am. I want to get really good at a game but just can't bring myself to play it for long enough!

Still the idea that one could be addicted to a game is very interesting

 

The Call of Duty series. Most specifically Modern Warfare 2. Played that to death in 2010, still play it sometimes.

 

MW2, I remember racing home when i was 13 - 14 and playing it for like 6 hours a day, had about 35 days worth of total time played. A month of my life. No other game has ever gotten me so pumped up.

 

Seems weird to me, it was like my least favourite of the Cod games I know a lot of people who got really into that though

 

Runescape, used to play that for over 10 hours a day few years ago.

i'm surprised to hear someone get addicted to Rs, it seems the bots would stop most people laying the game for long these days, i try and stop all the time, it just seems pointless these days. Do you also find Rs07 addictive?

 

Only game I've been seriously addicted to is RS. Lasted from 03-08 (the worst was 06-08) when I got bored of it. Came back for 07scape and then got bored of it/too busy after a couple of weeks.

I've played other games, but I didn't play the crap out of them. For instance, I played Pokemon pretty avidly, but I would always get up and go outside after awhile. With RS I just wanted to stay in all day.

 

Runescape can be one of the most addicting games I've ever played. It's really easy to get hooked on it.

 

League of Legends until lately. I made my account 1.5 years ago and have played thousands of games.

 

Halo 3 god I miss those days, and now just COD's

 

Runescape :S I was hooked on wow for a while before EoC came but as soon as 07 came i got hooked straight up lol.

 

Rs, lol. I used to play for hours a really long time ago. I'm not addicted to any game anymore tbh.

 

Both Neopets and Ace Attorney.

 

Halo 3 was the best thing since peanut butter and chocolate.

Around that time Cod4 was out and I still play it today, I really like the older cods (mw2 and cod4 mostly).
