Help- A little freaked out about an eBook I bought on ebay

Hey guys, i started a eBook thread about BlackJack and I was going to sell them for 2M ea.

The problem is a mod found some places that people can download them for free. I googled it, and yea it's free.

So, the person I got it from sold it to me on eBay for $2.99 with "resell rights". I didn't know it was free....

I don't understand, did this person scam me, or rip me off, or is that the same thing?
I mean for god sakes he is a powerseller LOL...

 

I doubt it was him that posted somewhere for free download.

Someone probably bought it from him and did that, it's kind of out of his hands once he sells it. If there is anything he could do, he just hasn't realized that it's out there for free.

Not too much you can do, maybe ask for your money back.

I would consider scamming and ripping someone off the same thing.
In this circumstance, I believe he scammed you.
Whether or not he knew that it was free; You should be refunded.
It is highly unlikely that he will refund you though.
I'm glad it was only $3.00; It could have been much worse.
