More payment options for donations

How come?
For my own webshop I use multiple payment options to accept payments. These methodes are really easy to use for people who can't donate using the current options.

There're two payment which I think are able to accept donations with on Sythe.

Paysafe:
Bought worldwide at local stores. These cards are also used to buy membership from Jagex. Therefore people always have some credit on their cards.

I've intergrated this option fully automatic on my webshop. Currently I'm using an admin panel where I can see all payments made. This can be used by staff putting ranks on Sythe accounts.

Paysafe will take a 15% fee for accepting those cards on your webshop / forum. This fee could be payed by the buyer / donator.

Onebip:
Onebip is using premium sms from people to top up their account. Once topped by mobile phone you'll be given Onebip credits from the same value. This currency can be send easually the webshops which have Onebip accout linked to their e-mail.

I've also intergrated this payment options fully automated on my webshop. I can manage these payments also in the same admin panel I'm using for paysafe.

Onebip takes 2.5 month to payout and they're taking 9.99% sending fee + a 45% carrier fee (carrier fee is different for each country depending on the main provider). Also Onebip doesn't allow privately-owned accounts to pay out, you'll need a VAT-number.

I'm sure some people from the age of 13-17 will use Paysafe and Onebip to donate on Sythe.

Benefits
Sythe could benefit from this because donations are easier to make. I could benefit taking a small share for making it able for Sythe users to make payments throught these options. Admins will be given acces to the admin panel. (Will upload a pic when I'm able to, at work now)

What are the chargeback possibilities on such methods?

 

When I signed up for using Paysafe they toke a 6 weeks waiting period before paying me out. This is a kind of one-time test to see if you're their system legit.

Onebip had zero change being chargebacked.

You're welcome to PM Matthew and ask if you could handle those kinds of donations for the site. However, you'd have to pay Matthew through one of the accepted payment methods and would not be reimbursed for any chargebacks/scams.

OneBip is a terrible system. You would have to donate much more to just hit the donation milestone because of the fees that are incurred.

It is better to just buy a moneypak card, then put the money on a PP account and buy gold to get $5 rank and then donate the rest with PP.

OneBip has high fees, and usually is used by kids that can access there own cell phone, and not a credit card.

 

It's terrible because payout if fucked. Also fees are high. People will make donations because they can't do anything else with their money. I'm selling rsgp for over $2,- and that's going fine for me.

When you buy a moneypak, put the money on pp, buy mills and donate you'll be very old when you've finally donated. onebip is a matter of minutes and therefore much easier to do.

True, therefore it's easy to make a payment through Onebip.

 

Onebips fees are horrendous, and chargebacks are common and easy to do.
