Whats the story with the drops in the wild now?

What you need to risk to get the ep up and get proper drops?

 

Drops are now random, but your EP levels are a determinant in what kind of random drops.

For instance, if your EP is 30%, the loot from drops you receive upon PK'ing someone will be much better than the loot from drops you receive with 20% EP.

To gain EP, you just sit in a PvP world or Bounty Hunter combat or hot zone for some time. Hot zones give more earning potential (EP) than non-hot zones. In a hot zone, you can gain a maximum of 25% EP per half an hour, while a regular spot gives a maximum of only 15%.

This is what it looks like to be in a hot zone:




Here are a list of hot zones:

• East Ardougne
• Edgeville north to Wilderness ditch
• Falador
• Grand Exchange area
• Varrock
• The crossroads of Varrock and Al Kharid
• The entire Wilderness

The maximum amount of EP you can accumulate in a P2P world is 100% while I believe the the F2P worlds are 500%.

One thing I forgot is that you must have at least 76k of wealth on your character in P2P worlds and at least 26k of wealth on your character in F2P worlds to gain EP.

yeah listen to the pokemaster! i go pking in f2p. i go no arming and kill people that are 121-126 (im lvl 121) i get good drops. you wolt get as good of a drop if you kill a lower level.
