What Would You Do If It Was Me And You?

Ok so imagine a Zombie outbreak happend and me and you were the only ones left what would be the plan?

 

Get my gun safe, get shit loads of gas, get matches, get in car, go to wilderness, live off wilderness til' death due us part.

In all seriousness, I've actually had this conversation with a few friends, some of them multiple times ( most likely because we are both dorks ) and as much as i would try doing what you see in the movies, i would probably end up offing myself.

get super high and wait to die .... if I didn't die by the time I came down, I'd get some cheetos.

 

Why die when you can survive?

 

No one said anything about those things; you have to realise that provisions would more than likely be extremely hard to acquire. Car keys aren't just left in cars.. they're walking around in zombies pockets, and even if you do find a pair, you have to find the car it goes with, and you cant exactly go around pressing the alarm due to it alerting more zombies of your location, right?

Gun's ARE NOT going to be readily at your exposal, unless you have a gun cabinet already ( In which case you would more than likely have a limited supply of guns built for hunting, not killing humans ). Gun's would be at places such as police armories, which have probably already been cleaned, and if not it's most likely locked.

To get food, you would have to leave the "safety" of your own house as time passes by, food would begin to rot, and you'd be restricted too certain types of food, or at least food you could cultivate, or hunt down by yourself. Even if you were to move off into a wilderness area, as the cities ran out of humans to feed on, the zombies would eventually spread out into less populated areas, and you would begin running into more and more of them, as well as competing with them for the same food sources ( Hunting ).

In an end world scenario ( yes, END world ) money is a useless currency, the new currency would be supplies. Medicine, food, weapons, and even people who were experts in said categories. I don't see you getting anywhere with your paper.

If your basing this off of the sort of things you see in movies, there won't be an unaffected area. As infection spreads, the numbers of infected increase, the number of humans that can defend themselves from said infected decrease, thinning down the survivors slowly.

Most people would collapse under the depression of losing everything, family, loved one, what they've worked for their entire life. Many would more than likely see this as some "final coming" from religious scripture, and off themselves to join their gods anyway.

You see i look at this in a very realistic way.. it wouldn't be as simply as you think. I seriously doubt your average person would do as well as you think, let alone have the capacity to move into the wilderness, and live on his own by the land whilst keeping his sanity.

 

Its not that simple to just survive...why not go out having fun?

If I was one of those people that had like 100 guns of different varieties, food supplies for a while and the outdoors man skills to live self sufficiently...sure, but I don't....Plus by then everyone I know would have died, I probably would feel like shit...I would probably want to die...but you never know...fight or flight is a bitch.

 

You can always find a way to hotwire the car to start it without the key

Guns obviously run the zombies over and get to the gun shop

Go to a local gas station or get supplies and cook or you can go to a store for example walmart and take some junk food like cookies and stuff

 

Get all my guns out, start a small army with my mates, kill them bitches..

 

Your assuming your average person knows how to hotwire a car; which i assure you the average person does not.

Back to your gun point, what happens if you don't have guns? What happens when you run out of ammunition? It's unrealistic if your thinking you can carry a large quantity of ammo with you, the shit is heavy.

If your eating junk food for the rest of your miserable existence during an apocalypse like this, your eventually going to get out of shape. Once out of shape, you would more than likely die.

I would stock up on guns, food, water, gasoline, drugs, and anything else I would need. I would then find a good house with a decent bit of land and on the ocean. I would make the house indestructible along with setting up land mines all around it. The house would mainly be used to store things. I would get a yacht that I would live on most of the time. I doubt zombies can swim.
