Mods/Admins to be more active in the report a scammer section

I think it would be a good idea if more admins/mods were active in the report a scammer section as the longer the topic sits there the more people that are being scammed. If not more admins/mods maybe just mods designated to clean up the report a scammer area? (suggested by Inventor419 )

This is not a personal reason but my report a scammer appeal has been sitting for a few days now with no action so more people may have been scammed in this period of time.

Do you ever bother to use the search buttons there are HUNDREDS of these topics. Mods and admins do what they can WHEN they can, they are not paid to do this job they do it because they love sythe. As such they all have their own real world issues to deal with BEFORE sorting through every post of scammers that is on sythe. Especially since for the most part every time people get scammed it is their OWN FAULT. Why should sythe mods and admins waste even MORE time because people can't just be careful or learn to trade intelligently.

Just get some patients Mr joined a week ago, and get to know the community BEFORE you start suggesting how you think it should be changed.

 

I wasn't pushing them, this is a suggestion section meaning you post suggestions. If you don't like it, please just simply say that you disagree. I wasn't asking for some lecture Mr Dec 2005.

 

There needs to be designated anti scam moderators.

 

I'm going to a memorial service now, but when I get back I'll do a few pages

 

Actually lately moderator activity has been picking up.

it was alot worse a week ago from what iv'e seen.

Lately me Cfrey and unb4nn3d have been working on getting them done

 

I know giddy and unb4nned spend alot of time there.

Plus some users help them. Stop complaining, get notepad out and go through them yourselves.

Giddy and Unbanned spend a lot of time there and hence should be aided instead of having to take care of it all themselves.

He means put all the scammer reports in a note pad and send it to a mod

 

Go to report a scammer section.

Now go through all the reports, writing the ones with enough proof to ban in a notepad file. Then pm it to a mod and let them have a look.

Congratulations, you have just helped solve the problem.

 

How does that solve the problem if the mods assigned to it aren't doing their job? Giddy and Unbanned had to get specific permission just to do that.

 

Giddy does spammer reports, not scammer reports.

 

It saves time for one. What is complaining doing to be exact?

Ive done a couple of pages myself, it really isnt that hard.

 

It would be easier if people would post real evidence instead of chat logs, or copying + pasting text.

 

And actually followed the procedure that the stickys outline.

 

They are active. Just half the people don't provide much proof/chat logs
