First look at Halo 4!

I've alway's been more into Call of Duty and Battlefield, but I can't deny how excited I am to have another chance to play through the campaign and mess around on multiplayer for a bit.



I wasn't a huge fan of Reach, but from the looks of the video, so far so good (Great to see the BR make a return).

Anyone else excited?

Haven't watched it but halo 3 was my shit. I hope halo 4 will be as good. I hated the perks in reach.

 

i really wish they would just make halo 3 all over again with new maps. Reach ruined the halo series for me but halo 3 was boss and fun to play i wish it would just be a remake of halo 3 with new maps and then make some DLC of the halo 3 maps like The pit, guardian, construct.

Looks good from the trailer, I hope they make it similar to Halo 3 and bring the competitive element of the game back in multiplayer. Only time will tell!

 

I have heard that they are looking back into the older versions of Halo because they understand a huge player base was lost with Reach. I personally can not wait.

 

Wow, Haven't tried Halo yet.. I think I'm convinced with this one.

 

Frankie mentioned in an interview that the mp can be likened to Halo 2/Halo 3 style of gameplay, so I'm pretty excited. The only thing I am on the fence about at the moment is Sprint, and this perk/custom loadout shit they were talking about. Not to mention the progression style unlockables... what the hell? I really wish they wouldn't have dropped a bombshell like that without explaining it fully. It makes me scared it's going to try too hard to emulate CoD rather than just sticking to the winning formula from H2/H3.

 

Wow, it actually looks decent. Will for sure buy this game upon release!

 

Well I can say I'll Preorder but depending on when it's released I'll be going to get it on the release. But either way I'll love halo 4 I hated the perks in reach.

Doesn't seem like CoD perks, more like armor abilities. I'm not a fan of the way that sounds, I just hope that they include a ranking system and the majority of the ranked playlists are classic H2/H3 style. That way, the Reach noobs can still play Social and get buttfucked by armor lock all they want while I enjoy a game that is actually competitive .

 

I just hope they actually make some significant changes to this game. It got stale after Halo 2, and when Reach tried to change it up they were just criticized. I want to see something new and innovative in the Halo universe. I am also excited to see who these new enemies will be, and how they will play into the story.
