Modern warfare 2 problems.

Okay, 2 problems.
One it won't connect to steam(it says steam connect fail)
and 2, I got put in a hacked lobby then well my radar doesnt work anymore, I have a temp fix, but I want a proper fix that will fix it. ideas?

 

Not sure about your first problem, but the second sounds like an infection lobby. Did you close out of the game then reopen it? On the Xbox version, some modded lobbies had infections that had stuff like enhanced UAV and shit that worked until you turned your Xbox off, it might be something like that.

 

I've done everything I can think of besides reinstalling the game(I don't want too cos I download at 100kb/s and it's 11gigs...)
I've got a temp fix, but everytime I use it(which must be used when I start the game) I have to re-do my graphic settings and controls. :/


EDIT: fixed, a kind person on steam helped me fix it.
