    I recently replaced my old Modem/Router but for some reason my internet speed went from an already slow 700kbps download to its now nearly unbearable 100kbps. Any idea as to why? If specifics are need I'll do my best to supply them but I'm not very good with these sort of things.

    What speeds are you paying for through your isp? How far away from the router are you?

    I recently had this issue with my ISP, Time Warner Cable. Tech came out today and apparently the codes on our account were fucking old as shit. Updated the codes and the internet is back up to speed as it should be.

    May need to call your ISP and ensure all the correct codes are installed on your account. May also need to ensure your modem/router is supported.

    WHat do you mean by "codes"?? Lol I have nev er heard of such terminology when dealing with DOCSIS routers

    Activation codes on their end I believe. I know Time Warner uses them. Not sure about other ISPs or how they are set up.

    I've had an issue with this aswell, but with Charter, worth a try calling them.
