Modding Tutorials - Many Systems

Ok, so I saw that many people had tried to come here and try to post guides on modding systems in their User Ed App. Most of them are shit, so here are better ones.

Modding Xbox-

Req:
Action Replay MAX
Memory Card (Not the one that comes with AR)
One of 3 Games (Non-Platinum Hits):
Game 1: Spinter Cell - Stealth Action Redefined
Game 2: The First Mechassault
Game 3: 007 Agent Under Fire
Linux Installer Download - Up in Download Section

Since it is my site time to be special

Now, you have the file on your Comp Extract SID-4.0-Nknave.RAR
Ok, Now Lets get on with it.

Once you have the AR Disc, Install it. Once it is Done Open it.

Now Plug the USB Cable to your Computer.

Then Once that is Done Put your Memory Card in.

Now Find the SID4.NK.Launcher file in the Extracted Folder and Drag and Drop it to the part of Action Replay that Says Memory Card.

{{Note: If you Get an error that the file is an invalid Game Save you probably didnt extract it right Remember that only that file i said is Extracted}}

Now, Find the Game File of the Game you have (Put ur Mouse over it)

If you use Splinter Cell you have 2 Files. One NTSC and one PAL, if you live in the Americas use NTSC if you live outside, use PAL.

Now your AR Menu Should look Like this. [Azzid Doesn't Like Pics without Se7ensins on it ]



Now, Once they are Both on the Card take it out of the USB Adapter and put it into your Xbox Controller (Memory Card Slot)

Transfer the files onto your hard drive . To do this go to the "Memory" screen from the main standard MS Dashboard. When you get into the memory menu, click on the memory card (by pressing left on the D-Pad) and select it by pressing A. When you get into your memory card and find the file, you might have to press the right button on your D-Pad to select the file and then choose copy. Do this for BOTH files or else the installation will not work/start.

Ok Here is the Easy Part. Once the files are on your Xbox put the Disc that you have (Splinter Cell, 007, or Mechassault) Here is What you Have to do for each of the Games.

Splinter Cell: Go to Start Game, click LINUX, and you wont see any check points, but still press A for the Check Points twice. Then the installer should load up.

Mechassault: Go to Campaign, click Run Linux and that should load the installer. Mechassualt is known to be harder to get the installer loading since it requires a certain edition. Please be sure that when you have 'Run Linux' highlighted, the files description is as follows:
Controls: Normal
Difficulty: Regular
Current Level: Going Down Hard
If that does not show up, then you will have to get a different version or get Splinter Cell or 007.

007: Go to Load Mission, then select the Xbox Hard Disk option and that should load the installer.

Once it is done a screen like this should pop up.



Ok now, I like to be Original So, I will make this part different from the tutorial on my site.

Once you are there, goto "Create MS Backup" (If you wanna Un- Softmod your Xbox)

After that, goto "CREATE EEPROM BACKUP" it'll send you to another screen, on that screen goto "CREATE EEPROM BACKUP" again. Then "BACK TO MAIN MENU"

At the main menu, goto Install Softmod

Then at the next screen Click Either NTSC or PAL (PAL- Out of Americas NTSC- In Americas)

Then: Knaves Ndure, Open Tray= RETAIL

Once there you can pick either:
UnleashX or EvolutionX

Then 3 messages will pop up, read them, remember them, hit A after each one.

Once all requirements are passed, hit Yes on that screen.

Now, open up your disc tray, take the disc out and you should get to the Modded Dash and it should say Softmod Successful Message.

After that Press A
