Middle Man?

Sorry to be a noob but, what's a middle man?

 

Someone who basically moderates a trade of 2 users so that no one gets scammed.

 

So, they just sit there a mods to see that no one is scammed. That's all?

 

Yes, they make sure no one is scammed and that the trade goes through smooth.

 

It's like; you buying something really expensive in real life, and the police are watching you buy it, so everything goes well; imagine that online, but we have MM and OMM.

 

Wow, seems easy. Plus, you can get payed. What should I do if someone does get scammed?

So, all I have to do is moderate a trade on MSN or some other IM and make sure no one is scammed? Then if they are I report them with pics I periodically take.
