    Mmorpgphill is a scammer!

    Seller's Sythe profile link:

Briefly explain the trade: Trying to buy a Hearthstone Beta Key from him.

How they scammed: After Paypal transaction, he doesn't send me the key to the agreed upon email address and proceeds to block me from Skype.

Proof that you were not talking to an imposter:

Skype conversation screenshots (taken in chronological order):

He tells me that he won the key off a raffle from the website games.on.net and provides me a screenshot for proof.

    The proof he provided:

He tells me he won the key yesterday (Aug 20, 2013) however, i sign up for the website and do a bit more digging and pull up his profile and notice that his sign up date was 26 minutes ago, when our conversation first started. That would have made it impossible for him to win the key yesterday.

I notice the lack of timestamp from the PM provided in his proof screenshot and he says that it's not his "real account".

His profile on the website games.on.net:

My profile on that website for reference:

I look up his posts on Sythe.org and he looks to be a fairly reputable poster so I naively trust that he is telling the truth. We work out the transaction details, and I send him the payment through Paypal. He tells me to put a very shady note in the notes section as well, but I figure this to be standard as to prevent himself from getting scammed from people who dispute transactions after receiving their product.

It takes him over half an hour to get back to me on sending the key after I confirm payment with him. He then proceeds to tell me that he has sent it and promptly blocks me after I tell him that he never sent it to the agreed upon email address:

After he fails to provide the key, I look up his thread creation (not his post history on Sythe) and he apparently has numerous threads attempting to scam for a different account.

Paypal transaction screenshot for further proof:

Please take action against this guy, as his post history attempts to mask that he isn't a scammer. Thanks.

Banned. Feel free to open an unauthorized transaction dispute to get your money back.
