Should there really be a head middleman?

I feel that all admins should take care of the middleman process. I don't think just one select person should be in charge of something especially Finn considering his history and trouble on the site. Sure everyone can say "Well Steph took care of it all when she was admin, why shouldn't Finn?". Well first the scammers were still able to become middlemen. Dorito, Mdrew, etc. etc... Having multiple admins look over each application thoroughly would benefit the site from scammers getting the rank.

Now I know most of the staff are getting pissed off at me and looking for a chance to ban me when they can, but most of my points are valid.

I'm guessing this thread will be deleted in a few minutes, and I will probably be banned. Since Finn came on Vent and threatened to ban me, but I like throwing my ideas out here and communicating to make this site better.

Not that I doubt Finn with the position, but I don't really see a need for a Head MM at all.

 

Finn is the Head of MMing, but his job is to get things rolling, changing and improving. MM applicants will be voted on and reviewed by Global Moderators and Administrators. Finn basically keeps the MM part of the site up and running.

 

There's no particular reason not to have one, although there are reasons to have them.

- Going through middleman proofs
- Resolving issues regarding middlemanning/middlemen, such as trades that have went wrong, resulted in an undesirable consequence
- Looking after the private forum
- Making sure Middlemen adhere to the Official Middleman code
- Deeming trusted veteran vouches appropriate or inappropriate
- Someone knowledgeable about the application process and middlemanning, to whom questions can be addressed
- Making amendments to the middleman process - Jagex and friends are naturally capricious
- etc.

Furthermore, you were only warned as you seem keen produce posts aiming at causing disruption following a lot of precautioning from a Market Moderator.
