suggestion:

Do not require a stats picture for people who are willing to sell their Runescape account.

It's unsafe to show full stats and its unneeded. people who want to sell their account should just note the amount of 90's or 99's and the skill it belongs to. And if somebody wants to see full stats then it should be on request.

This because Jagex can easily ban your account if stats match.

 

You can easily cover up total level and a few, insignificant skills.

We require such proofs because it can sometimes aid in scam reports/evasion reports as well as the obvious reasons.

 

I've always posted a complete stats picture when I was selling an account. None of those accounts were ever flagged/banned by jagex.

 

No support; can simply cover up total/unimportant stats. Also shows the proof that they actually own an account with whatever they state they have

People used to always cover some stats. You can still do that.

 

Jagex has never actually done this (to my knowledge)

Well, that's a bit different, you were actively bragging about it.

 

its still a risk. It shows that Jagex does look at this website and might ban an account.

 

Just cover a few stats then, if you're worried.

The market would be chaos if we didn't require proofs. People claiming they had all sorts. I know you said, you can ask to see the account - but people get scammed every day, particularly those who are new to trading here. It's there for a good reason and you can easily protect yourself by hiding a few stats.

 

I've bought a few accounts now and just wanted to add that from a buyer perspective it's always nice to know the account before you even get into it. Because if you get really bumped for buying an account then when you ask to see the stats they're nothing like you expected then that can be quite disappointing and frankly a waste of time for not just the buyer but the seller too.

Obviously there are the main reasons especially proof of purchase but I just think there's no need to fix something that's not broken as the account trading area of sythe runs great
