Steam Communication

Would it be possible to implement a way to add friends on Steam from Sythe? Like the skype/msn/aim/etc. in the Edit Profile panel. We have Sythe Steamers, but no simple way to add them to our friends list (if we so choose).

We already have PS3/XBL Gamertags. Why not add Steam as well?

I think it's actually a great idea. No clue why this wasn't implemented before.

 

For steam this could come in handy as the people that do game gifting services could do it quicker with offline payment, they pay you, then when you come online you can click the steam icon, which takes you to their profile where you can gift the game. Support.

 

Forgive my ignorance, but is Steam like Runescape in that you can be banned for selling accounts/names etc? If so, would people advertise their names? Don't use steam so IDK.

 

I like that idea. People should be more involed with Steam.

 

I'm not huge into to PC gaming, and hardly use my steam account. Even so, I don't see anything but positives coming from implementing a feature to aid in adding your sythe friends on steam.

 

And getting Sythe people to get closer will only help Sythe in the long run.
