Slower Harpoon?

I am 79 fishing

before the 2 recent updates

I was able to fish 1200-1500 sharks in 8-10 hours

Now its taking way longer

Did they patch the barb tailed harpoon or something

 

barbed-tailed harpoon and regular harpoon have the same fish per hour, neither gives better fishing capabilities.

ON TOPIC: I don't know if they nerfed it.. but they did a lot of hidden updates.

 

Only reason I could see them tweaking sharks is slide the market toward rocktails.
Their motives for doing this I don't see, and so I doubt they did it.

Maybe they just want Shark prices to go back up? lol. They've been dropping so much. (Though I doubt Jagex really gives 2 shits)

 

jagex dosent care about sharks lol... as if they would nerf them i guess you are having a bad day fishing someday i get 320 lobsters a hour then sometimes i get 250 a hour sucks yep.

 

Jagex won't patch this kind of thing unless it involve RWT them it will patch.

and ontopic i think they have done the same thing. i use to get more but now im only averaging 1k sharks in an hour at 85 fishing

 

They nerfed harpooning

I averaged 2m and 15k-20k xp from 10:50pm-12pm (over night)

Now I only got 1.5m and 12k xp per hour

 

I'm assuming you botted it, in which case there are many things that could have happened besides Jagex nerfing Sharks.

Your internet could have went out for a while, causing a large break in your Fishing. You could've forgotten to turn breaks off if you're using Rsbots.net auths or something. You could've been stuck somewhere for a while.

Don't come up with a conclusion like that after just one attempt at botting.
