A life goes by

Just another day, messing with my friends 
As my teacher walked across to me, 

She said to me my dad was  dying in hospital, i didn't believe it. 
I was rushed to beside his bed, but on the way i couldnt help but doubt and feeling numb, 

I tried escaping from it all, reality was the call that brought me back to it all. 
 I walked into the room, to see him lying in that bed, barly breathin life. 

He wispered in my ear, I love you forever, his eyes came to a close, 
I broke down in tears falling to my knees, it felt like the world was coming to an end.

I barly knew my dad, i was just too young to understand this  pain i cried myself to sleep,
i was always getting teased, for having him taken away from me, i felt so bad, i tried many ways to end my life in this earthly hell. 

One day  mother came into my room, to see me hanging from a rope, not breathing air, she held me in her arms, as I regained signs of life,
Months later I tried to escape this world again, holding my breath, my hands around my neck, I couldn’t not let go, my mind was spinning round. 
 
im all grown up now, some nights i still cant accept this fate, i choose to not believe. 
I lived with pain and suffering, Why don’t I just try my hardest to forget most of it. Even now, thinking of that day, still brings tears to my eyes.
