Aether Mod

If you have been playing minecraft for awhile you've probably entered into the nether. A bunch of people have been working on a "counterpart" to the nether called the Aether. It's been in dev. for over 5 months and it was released 2 days ago. I installed it as soon as it came out and it is insane. Tons of new blocks, weapons and tools. The mod has dungeons and other mobs for you to fight. Overall this is the coolest mod I have seen in ages. Only problem is that it doesn't support single player commands at the moment but I hope in future updates it will. Anyways here's the link.

I just checked that out and must admit it looks amazing. I'm going to have to download it when I get the chance. Thanks for the share.

 

I have already played it, and I must admit, it got boring really fast. The bosses/dungeons were cool, but other than that, not anything I would spend my time on (probably because I'm more of a redstone guy....)

 

I'm pretty noob when it comes to redstone but quicksoil is beyond amusing. I want to try and rebuild a silver dungeon in my regular world I think that would be cool as shit. If you are a more redstone guy you should probably check out the better than wolves mod, it has lots of new stuff. I might reinstall it once aether gets boring.
