City build games?

I've been looking into city build games for a while now, I've played the Caesar ones which are good but getting a bit old apart from 4 which is shit. I've give SimCity a try as well but it's too complicated.

I'm pretty sure some of you here have played city build games, if so what ones would you recommend?

is a little ogame private server im starting its sorta similar to building cities but instead you build on planets and colonize them etc..

hmmm... im sure you have heard about but there is alot City building games on facebook.

Cityville,Cartown,Mafia wars 2,adventure land, hello land or something and alot alot more. im sure you will find something interesting there

 

Ogame itself has gone to shit, I don't know why you'd want to waste your time on a private server.

 

I have a secret obsession for city building games and my favorite is Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom

 

Simcity isn't that hard,
I have simcity rush hour, and after a few hours U will get the hang of it,
it's lots of fun, and I can play it for hours

 

I played for ages, you have to do EVERYTHING in it. It's just too complicated for me.

 

Tropico III or IV. Gooooooood games. I haven't played much, but from what I have, they are good. They aren't too complicated. They do take some thinking.

 

Age of Empires! Can't go wrong with it, and there's still a decent online community.

 

Rise of Nations is a pretty good game.. there are still people playing it online ( including me) With game ranger.
