The Witch

Anyone planning on seeing this? I think it came out today. I saw it got some exceptional reviews for a horror movie. I'll probably end up seeing it sometime next week.

I considered "The Conjuring" and "Annabelle" to be pretty decent new horror movies. One of my favorites was the original "Exorcist". I'll update once I've seen it.

 

Girl I always watch horror movies with already hit me up to go watch it so I wonder if it's going to be good.

I was a big fan of the conjuring aswell btw, one of the few great horror movies imo.

 

Every single review i've read so far has been nothing but "This shit is scary"
I haven't been scared of a movie since i was a kid and hated watching "Jason" So i'm looking forward to it, let me know how it is if you watch it before i do!

 

Well fellas,

I saw it and tbh it was a little disappointing. The first 30 minutes had tons of potential to make a super scary movie but it just went downhill from there and it ended up making me confused more than anything. Also the actors speak in old 1600's english so its almost impossible to understand all the children in this movie.

Let me know if you guys end up seeing it. Curious to see another persons point of view.

 

My little sister told me yesterday she saw it, she's 13 and said the movie wasn't scary at all so i won't bother watching it anymore.

 

Fair enough. It's more of a psychological horror than a movie about an actual witch.

I was more excited about the trailer for "The Conjuring 2" more than anything. Looks pretty freaky.

 

The media keeps lying about horror movies tbh. Like every x amount of months I see yet another article about "the scariest horror movie ever". "People cried their eyes out" stuff like that. And sadly most of the time the movies dissapoint me
