What's the most "sketchy" thing that has ever happened to you?

 

For the sake of the story I'll name two of my friends:

Friend A
Friend B

Friend A was going to sell his car to friend B
Friend B was going to buy the car from friend A




Okay, so it's 2nd period, sophomore year, we have a substitute teacher for English (I'm their T.A) so we decide to just walk out of class since the teacher didn't notice. Both friends were going to do a deal for a car. Friend B had the money in his bank account.

He hadn't told his parents that he was going to do the deal, nor did the idiot know how to drive manual transmission.

So we're in the parking lot, Friend A tells Friend B to get the money from the bank. We are like "alright" so Friend A stays at school while we are on our way to the bank.

Friend B didn't know how to drive manual, we turn and he keeps on stalling. UNFORTUNATELY, a police officer turns in next to us, he says if their is a problem. Everything turns for the worst, Friend B didn't have his license (Only his permit) we're both under aged, we cut class.

tl:dr I GOT OFF THE HOOK, thank you cop! Gave him my sisters number (said it was my mom's) and she got a call from him when we were in Vegas and she laughed. Friend B got a fat ticket, can't get his license for a long time (this was 2-3 years ago he now has it), his parents got pissed at him, his dad came to take us back to school.

I was running down a road really fast, and at the end of the road was a main road to cross, I thought it was safe, and this girl shouts "OLLIE!" from behind me right as I'm about to cross.. I turned around, and right as I turned around, a car zoomed past me on the main road at about 70MPH. I'm pretty sure she saved my life.

Going to gang bangers houses when I needed a large quantity of weed.. The various trap houses I visited to sell/buy drugs.. quite a few stories.. I almost got forced to smoke heroin once. a lot of stuff

 

I almost got mugged by a couple of gang members down in an alley when I was walking home from the park.

 

Got raped by my girlfriend. true story.

 

Witnessing my friend's stalker coincidentally in every place we were tonight, except one step ahead of us. Was kind of funny though lol.

 

When I was walking home one night a bus was going down the road and hit the middle of the road and tipped on its side and started to slide towards me so I run out the way and it stopped just near me. I was so freaked out at that point, I was the only person around as it was late at night and only the driver was in the bus as it was not in service. Just after a fire truck drove past and helped the guy out so I just went home but I was still freaked out.

 

Why did they try to force you to smoke heroin?

 

Few years ago my parents had left my brother and I to stay with our grandma for a week while they were in Las Vegas. Our grandmas house was around 2-3 blocks away from our house, so we were allowed to go to our house to chill for a few hours, then we'd go back for dinner at our grandmas, then we could either go home for another 2 hours then walk back when it was time to go to sleep, or just stay at our grandmas.

One night it was really shit dark outside since it was like 8 pm on a January day, and my brother and I were walking back to our house after eating dinner at our grandmas, when we past this alley that was perpendicular to the street we were walking down. In the alley was this old, sketchy as fuck white ford pedo van sitting there. After we were around a few meters from the alley, the van starts up and begins driving slowly behind us, until finally it drove ahead of us and pulled over and parked on the opposite side of the street we were walking along, something like 4 guys got out, all looking like they were about 20 ish. One of the guys starts to walk towards us, walks right past us (I completely thought he was about to pull a knife or some shit on us) then went on to walk towards some house that appeared to have no one in it. Shit was so fuckin' scary at the time and I was pretty much prepared to fight for my life at that point lol.

Anyway my brother and I jetted the fuck outta there, we got to our house (which was only 4 or 5 houses from the house the sketchy guy walked towards) and I saw the guy get back into his van, and they drove forward a couple houses and the same guy got out and went to a different house, they did this one more time after before they drove away.

Looking back I'm positive they were looking for houses to break into, and that guy was probably going to try to mug us or someshit until he realized that we were pretty big guys (at the time I was like, 6'2 and my brother being a pretty jacked 6'0). It doesn't seem that scary but when you're only 14 this was some seriously bizarre and sketchy shit.

 

I used to sell large quantities of all sorts of drugs, so I've been in a lot of sketchy situations. Getting robbed at gun point by some friends of mine that I knew for several years is probably one of the worst. I got robbed another time for a measly $100 worth of acid and pistol whipped in the face when I didn't get out of the car. I've also had several run-ins with cops. Sometimes I was lucky and other times I wasn't.

On a serious note, i think we have sold to the same kid.
IF he lives in a suburb on the outside of Minneapolis (southern suburbs).

 

It was during spring break and we needed beer. So my friends and I went nearby to a grocery store and we parked near the pharmacy (no camera right there). Near the pharmacy was a door that said an alarm will sound if opened. Anyways, my friends and I pushed a cart around the store packing in alcohol and food to make it look like we were shopping. As we approached the door, a man stopped us and asked us why we were having all that alcohol but we simply stated that it was for our mom who was in the restroom and he believed us. So we circled the store a time or two and then went back to the door, busted it open and grabbed all the alcohol and food. We jumped into the bed of the truck with all the stuff and took off. Luckily the "alarm will sound" message was a bunch of crap and it never sounded. We ended up getting around 6 cases of beer and 3 bottles with lots of food. It was a good day but regardless, I was terrified the entire time.

 

Some dodgy guys in a car drove up to me and some friends, and then they gave us a bag and drove off. The bag has some expensive stuff inside, Armani belts, watches, jewellery and some other junk. We decided against keeping it, because it may have been stolen goods, so we turned it into a police station.

 

I met up at McDonalds with some guy I met on Craigslist to buy a blue phat from him for a fairly large amount of cash.

 

That's crazy.

 

I've had alot of sketchy experiences throughout my life, many of which I probably shouldn't discuss openly here, but there have been a few times where I've been involved in larger sized "business transactions" (not involved in the business myself, but just being in the house at the time or being brought along to one) and they were quite nerve racking, although you can't really let on that you are scared in that situation.

There was also a few times I ended up at really sketchy houses with really scary and unpredictable people, including one time where the owner of the apartment had a loaded gun beside him on the coffee table. That is the first and only time I have seen a loaded handgun before (I live in Canada and they aren't as common as in the U.S.).

I also had a knife pulled on me once in a totally unrelated incident when I was very young. I got into an argument with a kid at school who I was sort of friends with, and my girlfriend slapped him across the face and he got totally enraged and pulled out a steak knife that he had brought to school to use with his lunch. He grabbed my hair and held the knife to my throat and threatened to kill me as a bunch of people tried to talk him down out of his anger, and it was a little nerve racking. I wasn't sure if he actually had the balls to stab me or not, but I didn't really want to find out anyways. Somehow I managed to stay calm during the entire ordeal.

There was another time I was the driver for an acquaintance of mine - a friend of my friend - who I didn't know all that well and was helping run some errands. This guy had been in and out of jail a few times but he had been over at my buddy's house a few times and so I trusted him. While we were driving towards one of the destinations I was taking him to, he saw a buddy of his walking along the road and he asked me to pull over so he could talk to the guy. His buddy looked really sketchy and asked for a ride and I didn't want to say no so I let him in the car. The dude had a shaved head and scabs and scars on his face and I could tell he was high out of his tree. For the next half an hour I had to watch him inconspicuously in my rear-view mirror, while listening to him talk about how he was a meth dealer and had just got out of prison and all this crazy shit, while him and the guy I was driving exchanged numbers and chatted among themselves. It was a long drive lol.
