Mild flaming in spam forum?

In the rules it says it is allowed,

It shouldn't be.

We allow 'mild flaming' so that people can joke around a bit, but that's not an invitation to pick a fight. Your thread was a deliberate attack on another user just because you were sour over a post she made. That, we do not allow.

The idea of the spam forum is to have a forum that members can relax, some place where they cannot get infractions unless it's dire.

I still see tons of threads with TJ and many others flaming unb4, just curious where their infractions are.

So, this is not justified.

 

How do you know he doesnt get infracted?

 

Moderators close the threads when it's a flame thread, his never are closed, if so, rarely.

I guess some are immune to infractions.

 

Just because a thread isn't closed doesn't mean they aren't infracted for it.

 

They are supposed to be closed, because it will start a flame bait. Oh well though, either way, I guess some do and some don't.

 

Sectionals can give infractions anywhere; however, they can only lock threads in their own section. Thus, sectional moderators without spam forum perms may simply infract the OP without further action. (If the thread's gotten out of control, they'll ask a global to lock it). So, you really can't tell if action has been taken.

In any case, your understanding of the rules should not be based off what you think other users are doing. The rules are as written; if you do misinterpret them, the infraction serves as a warning.
