chess competition :D

i would like to see a chess competition agein

 

I love chess why don't we have one regularly like once every 3 months or something... chess involves strategic thinking and I just love it ^_^

 

thats what i think too , maybe some official mm or something could host 1 every 3 months or something whit either rsgp as prize or something els (every1 put like 10m in the prize pot maybe)

 

I'm totally down for it. It would be pretty awesome. I used to be really good at chess.

 

I do like the tournaments that go on, I am rather disappointed that I missed the chess one, as I think I would have had a very good chance of winning it.
Anyway, you need to find people that are willing to give up their time to organise one. If you ask JohnK nicely he might make another

 

Because it takes up a lot of someones time to simply organise it, let alone monitor and running it.

He's already planning/organising future competitions if I'm correct.

OT: I support the theory of more community-based competition, however it definitely does not need to be restricted to chess.

 

I'd love to see another. I too am really disappointed that I missed out on the first one.

just out of interest how would you eliminate cheating from this sought of chess match

 

By beating the cheater anyway. Or we could use some sort of screen share or something if the other person is that paranoid.

 

i like alot of games so its not just chess i would like to play for rsgp or something i also would like to play Poker.

 

It wouldn't matter; you would just lose against me.
