Reason for it to be added:

1. Use on images save bandwidth on the website.
2. Less text/images to load on pages.
3. Could save you from scrolling thru the giant pages of people threads when they have all the vouches on the thread.

 

Sure, especially the vouches idea.

I realy agree with xXfireZ, its annyoing when ppl have more than like 100 vouches, scrolling ? ;(

 

I vote for they should be forced to create a vouch thread to clean up there sigs...tat forum was made for a reason.....no infraction just a thread....

Last time the spoiler tag was allowed it was exploited. Could be part of the reason it's not enabled or might not be in the future.

I suppport, always liked a good spoiler. But the quote may be the reason it never lasted.

 

Yea, I still wonder how it was exploited and all exploits can be fixed.

How was it exploited? We can always make a rule to only keep pictures and vouches in the spoiler tags and not e-mails, etc...

 

Because it was a JavaScript spoiler tag (Click to show -> JavaScript shows spoiler div) the code could be escaped (ended early) and new code was put in, allowing people to run their own JavaScript code when people clicked on the button.

 

I support the spoiler system for vouches and/or pictures to save scrolling/bandwidth. Scrolling past Skele's or Syed's vouches for example would be much easier with a spoiler system put in place (their vouches are insane). I also like the idea for being able to put spoilers on pictures so you don't need to load as much. Just my thoughts. You should start tallying up the supporters by the way.
