[DENIED] Merge RS markets into Game Markets

Are you wanting to change the position of the RS market(As in move it from the top)?

Yes I do. I actually edited my post before you responded to just ask my question and support .

 

Sythe is mostly runescape market. There are the most posts, threads and services, it should stay this way as Sythe doesnt seem to grow in other sections as much as in RuneScape especially now when it's peaking because of a lot of new players

 

I have to agree with @Zuzel111. If I had heard of this as a "Games black market" or whatever rather than "RuneScape black market", I wouldn't have joined I think.

Google "RuneScape black market" and Sythe is the first thing that pops up.

Type League of Legends black market for example, you can't even find Sythe on there..

 

This website is a huge majority RuneScape based. It's mostly a RuneScape black market, and I don't support the decision to
make it all into one gaming market. RuneScape on this website has enough support to have it's very own sections.

I support this and the reasoning why, makes complete sense.

 

I don't support, because even though we want to include all other games and make it seem like there is a balance, we can't disadvantage the core market that provides growth to this community.

 

I don't support this because there are so many sub-categories for the Runescape market and it makes sense for it to have its own section. although I don't play RS, it is a major part of Sythe's identity, and I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. all sites have their niches.

 

I would also like to elaborate on the RuneScape section as a whole. I've looked at some other stuff regarding this post. If you look
at other games such as Fortnite, League, PUBG, so on and so fourth, there isn't a variety of things to purchase. It's mostly you buy
an account for a rank, skins, level, etc.

RuneScape as a whole, you have rare market, gold market, pures, mains, skillers, old school, runescape 3, deadman, runescape cheating, services, questing, fire capes, infernal capes, other untrades, etc.

In regards to your suggestion, I still have to not support because let's be honest here.. Sythe is the great most known RuneScape
market, if people who ran this wanted to be a thriving market for other games, it would have been.

 

I don't think it would necessarily hurt, but, for organizational purposes, it looks much nicer to have it on its own, in my opinion.
I also find that when sites (in general) try to leave their niche and go towards more of a "general" theme (general gaming marketplace in this place), it doesn't usually work out very well unless there is heavy, heavy effort being put into this. I can appreciate the efforts of wanting to step into a more general direction, but I think maybe this suggestion would be more suitable after efforts have been made (and successful) in going in a more general direction? Right now, Sythe is very largely Runescape, so I don't think trying to detach from that is in Sythe's best interests right now until/unless it establishes itself as more of a "general gaming marketplace".

This would definitely have to be a huge undertaking from the PR/CDT to promote other aspects of the site, and I think there even have been efforts from them to stimulate the other markets, but it's hard.

A counter-suggestion would maybe be trying to promote the other marketplaces and growing them enough that they would be worthy of having multiple subsections/its own section, just as Runescape does. Definitely not an easy suggestion, though. And I can totally see what your thoughts are and appreciate them, I just personally don't think it would be helpful at this point in time.

Personally I like the main focus of Sythe to be a runescape gold market. I don't support this because I believe it would slightly hurt the gold market & my business. Leaving as is just seems like the best way in my honest opinion.
