Do Range Tanks Still Do Well in PvP?

So I have a range tank, soon to be maxed (I hope) and I was just wondering if all my hard work will be made up for when I pk I am currently training for 94 mage, I have reached 70 already from alching magic long bows, is there any other good items to alch that don't lose money or even make a profit?

Range tanks are still really effective in the wildy.

I've always had a view that they are effective accounts, but they are really plain and not too much fun to PK on. They do get the job done though.

 

My friend has a good ranged tank and he still gets good kills when we pk together.

 

I loved my range tank before it got banned, I was tooling on people even without veng, after i got veng i was destroying. Keep in mind i was level 99 with 99 range 75 def and pked with dfs ect

 

Range tanks are decent till 100 cb.

 

I love pking on my tank, whether it's edgeville prodding with my divine, or bridding at east. Rigour is a must have.

 

Range tanks are still pretty good but they can get really repetitive with the weps they can use
