Fishing

Okay so I'm thinking about playing RS again. I mostly want to skill and make money. I have an account with 72 fishing and I really like the idea of 99 fishing. How much money do you think I'd make getting this done and how long do you think it would take?

I'd probably be fishing lobsters until at least 85.. I don't know what after that. Open to suggestions, but I want to make a good amount of money off of this.

 

If you're going for 99 then do Shilo Village or Barbarian Fishing the whole way. If you're going for money, get 76 and then do sharks. Forever. I know that 99 sounds nice and everything, but the amount of hours that it takes AFTER getting 99 and fishing for cash to break even from the time it took you to get 99 is preposterous, if you followed what I said. And doing lobsters as a hybrid between the two is even worse.

 

I'm more concerned about the amount of money 99 would get me. Shilo village is pretty good EXP, but shitty money.

 

Maybe around 30 to 35millish
depending if you fish lobs, monks or sharks

 

Aw damn. Not as much as I thought. I thought it would be more like 70M lol. Haven't played in a long ass time.

 

In this market you would make 166.5M from 72-99 doing only sharks.

Yeah but it also requirs 90 fishing to start lol.

Sharks are going 1.6k each atm so, if you do sharks 72-99 your gonna make a bundle, make sure you use a granite lob pouch, their really usefull.

 

You can't start sharks until 76, however this being said.

Fishing sharks, definitely slow and painful but if you're looking for GP, which you are, it's the best. And they sell fairly quickly too. And their prices are stable.

 

WOW sharks are 1.6k now? Holy crap, definitely doing those til 99. Don't care if they will take ages.

 

Around 4 - 6 months, depending on your gameplay.

 

Oh well. I suppose it'll be a long term goal then. I definitely am not gonna no life sharks for that long, but I will get it done hopefully. Probably going to do slayer and other random skills in between long periods of fishing until I just can't take it anymore.

 

hm i dont think that sharks are way to go ,but anyway if u wanna cath them then i prefr botting them in borg de rutt ,cause noone cathing them there so u will be safe
