Best way for 99 mage?

From 80, how should I get 99? Money not an issue, alching sucks lol

Just do slayer tbh, its pretty fast mage xp just from killing npcs on eoc and not that expensive either.

This is the method that I used. At the time I only played by hand and it was nice and afk'able/fast xp.

 

String Jewellery/Hunter Kit are good but expensive. Bursting rock lobs is pretty good xp and you'll get a hella lot of charms, it's what people do for summoning levels.

 

Personally I strung jewellary just based on the fact it's semi-afkable (1 click does all) and at the time it was fairly cheap.

You could always stun-alch (click-intensive) in edgeville, barrage rock lobsters (good for HP level and charms) or just train combat (with the EoC system, the combat triangle being more balanced, mage is once again widely used and useful on certain slayer tasks).

 

What are the materials I need to string jewelry? I have never done that before.

 

It's a Lunar spell so you'll need to have done Lunar Diplomacy quest.

Runes per cast: 10 Earth, 5 Water, 2 Astral (use Mystic Mud Staff as a substitute for earths & waters)

Then just fill your inventory with either Gold, Saphire, Emerald, Ruby or Diamond amulets (unstrung) and cast the spell on one to start stringing (might be wise to work out profit/loss for each type first).

 

Which type of amulet did you do? And do you remember from which level?

I think I did emerald at the time but I believe currently Gold will lose the least cash (I think it's quote expensive these days).

I strung from 85-99 but you can start at 80

Edit: No, all amulets have the same exp rate
