i like it, the text isn't very good. but everything else is good.

 

I'd like to know if what things you did to it =/ For all I can tell it looks copied off of google with text slapped on it.

I hope your kidding? It just looks like an image that has been sharpened. Your text sucks. Why don't you tell people what you did. It looks like you copied an image and cropped it and slapped horrible text on it. I don't know what I am talking about? Doubt it. Looking at that piece, your nothing.

In all honesty, I don't like the text. You should try placing it somewhere more interesting, and possibly using colours that fit with the rest of the signature.

 

Perhaps learning the rule of thirds or flow.

this is something, i just whipped up real fast. i liked the stock, and i just messed around with it. i didn't even really put any thought into it.

If you just 'whipped it up', you obviously expected it to be not-so-good. He's trying to help you, and since he's obviously more of a GFX artist than you, I suggest you listen to him.
