Intermittent fasting?

    Intermittent fasting?

    Is it worth it? I've been eating 2,000 calories in an hour every night at 12pm and nothing for the rest of the 23 hours. Is it going to help me slim faster?

    Technically, longer you stay fasted, more benefits. But eating all 2000 calories at once can't be healthy for you. As said above 8/16 is a good balance. even 4-6/20-18 is alright.

    Just like they said 8/16. I'd recommend eating between 3pm-11pm or 4pm-12pm.

    Yeah, what you describe is not what I've ever heard anyone call intermittent fasting. The more common scenario is not eating till like noon and then eating your full days meals by 8 spread over those 8 hours.

    Works well but the scientific behind it is vague, has worked for me thougb. With anything health and fitness related it only takes consistency and dedication

    what your doing is i believe called the warrior diet. Nothing makes you slim faster... It all depends on how much you eat. If you want to lose weight go to the gym and eat less than -200 maintenance calories or do cardio.

    Intermittent fasting requires quite a bit of discipline. My friend and roommate experimented with it but didn't commit for more than a week or so because of the side effects he reported (headaches, frustration, lethargy, etc).

    i did 8/16 back when I ran in highschool, did it for about 3 months, it helped a lot.

    I do 8/16 and it works a treat, alongside not eating carbs I have ALOT more energy throughout the day. It take a bit of commitment and you will have to get used to it, but once you get over the bump it great!

    It still doesn't mean you can rest absolute shit during feeding time.

    Read/watch Peter Attia, he's a medical genius in the field of longevity and has alot to say about fasting.

    By the way, if you eat moderately and when you stop feeling hunger and support this effect, it gives a good result
