Computer Literacy Portfolio ? HELP I dont understand

It says

The student must submit one project from five of the following categories for a total of five projects. No category may be used more than once and no project may be submitted for more than one category.

The categories are : Datebase, Word Processing , Desktop Publishing , Graphics , Presentation , Programming , Research , Spreadsheet , Web Page Design , and "Other"

I did the Spreadsheet , and the Presentation one. So i only need 3 more. BUT I dont understand how to do them . I dont know how to get started. I dont know what which one is and means ?... HELP ?

i need this done so i can get this credit so i can take drivers ed this year. helpppp please

 

Ask your teacher...?
Maybe make some sort of sql database for the database category. Write a properly formatted business letter for word processing. Write some sort of useful program for programming. It seems like a straight forward assignment but ask your teacher for clarification.

 

its my guidence counselor who gave this to me. if i do this i get a credit for it and then ill have enough credits to take drivers ed.. but i asked her acouple times and i thought i had it .. but i dont wanna bug her again lol and i dont think she really knows either. she doesnt describe it very well. but i guess ill do a business letter for word processing. that means i need 2more....

 

Perhaps pay someone here to make a graphic for you and hand it in as your own? Make sure whoever makes it for you is ok with that though.

 

For programming you could use VB to make a simple program, no?

Maybe a small calculator or something. It doesn't have to be too difficult, does it?

 

I dont know how to use VB. im didnt take this course. its just something i can do for a credit since im behind on my credits.

I did spreadsheet and presentation. I'm gonna do word processing . so that leaves me with 2 more to do..

I could do research project. so that leaves me with 1 to do.

i just dont know how to do any of those that are left.

 

Well, what does 'Desktop publishing' mean?

For desktop publishing you could design something in Microsoft Publisher.
