Summoning question.

How should I gather charms? I have 77 Summoning, and can pretty much kill anything. I only have 78 prayer though.
Waterfiends, burst rock lobsters, slayer, or something else?
I want to get the most charms, not the most xp(as in like slayer xp or such)

 

I'd say rock lobs. That's like 200 crims per 1k casts so 5 casts a crim plus a load of green and golds.

I prefer waterfiends since rock lobs got nerfed like 100 times. They still better charms i think but a total waste of money

 

rock lobs are easier charms imo if you have the money for it, definitely faster too.

 

Waterfiends if ur a main, rock lobs if pure.

 

Assuming you're a high enough level, I think you should go to waterfiends (I think that's spelt right). Although the best way for me to go about getting charms is slaying.

 

PURELY for charms, go to Rock Lobsters and Barrage them (or burst).

If you need to spare the cash, go to Waterfiends.

But, from your post, it seems like you just want to do it as fast as possible, so Barrage Rock Lobsters. Just wear Staff of Light to cut down on costs, and Arcane Stream with Tome of Frost if you have them (both from Dungeoneering). Then wear the best mage gear you have.

 

Slayer or Lobs but lobs are expensive

 

i went to waterfiends for 99 summon, maxed str/c maul is pretty good there.

 

Rock lobs and Waterfiends have already been said, but don't forget to do familiarisation once a week for the added boost

edit: Also you could dump penguin points and troll invasion reward into summon also

 

you can also try doing bloated leeches i think? they used to drop a heap of green charms and also blood velds they drop alot of greens

I did it through slayer, but since your not going for the XP I would say Waterfiends/Rock lobs.
And like Kabal said, that summoning minigame once a week, for extra charms.

 

Rock lobs if you can afford it bro otherwise go waterfiends.
